According to Deadline, Heather Morris (Glee) and Meredith Hanger (Men At Work) are joining Wyatt Russell and Alex Karpovsky’s (Girls) “road comedy” Folk Hero & Funny Guy. The actresses will play Nicole and Bryn, respectively, in Jeff Grace’s (It’s A Disaster) directorial debut about a stand-up comic and a singer-songwriter who are touring together. Also staring Melanie Lynskey (Two and a Half Men, Togetherness), the story is based on Grace’s own life as a struggling comedian, opening shows for his successful friend and musician Adam Ezra. Ezra is providing the film’s music, both of which will be underway this February.
