Hell’s Kitchen is about to explode in the new trailer for Daredevil season 2
The first part of the trailer for Daredevil’s second season is out, and it delivers on showrunner Marco Ramirez’s promise of a “Daredevil Vs. The Punisher” showdown. For the first time, we see Frank Castle a.k.a The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and his handiwork as he tracks gangs and takes them out “with military precision.” And where Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) has been meting out his own brand of justice to supplement that of the law he practices, The Punisher is serving as judge, jury, and executioner while avenging his family. Matt denies that his actions opened the door for someone like The Punisher, despite Karen’s (Deborah Ann Wall) and Foggy’s (Elden Henson) suggestions—murder is a line he just won’t cross. But Castle reminds Matt that he’s just “one bad day away” from losing that nuance, even as he also calls him a “coward” and a “half-measure”.
The trailer ends with a glimpse at Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung), whose role in Matt’s past and future will probably be revealed in the second half of the trailer, which will be released on February 25. The complete second season of Daredevil will be available on Netflix on March 18.
