The new Hellboy isn’t like a regular Hellboy. He’s a cool Hellboy. Behold, as he casually scarfs down some pizza like a real rad dude with an attitude in this new clip from Hellboy. The latest sneak peek at Neil Marshall’s upcoming reboot features David Harbour’s eponymous hero enjoying a snack befitting a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle as Ian McShane’s Trevor Bruttenholm gives him a quick lecture on the Osiris Club. That’s a name that readers of the comic books will recognize, but everyone else probably won’t, which is why Mr. McShane here is laying it out. Honestly, the guy could be explaining the Burger King Kids’ Club and I’d still find it compelling as hell(boy).
The most notable thing about this very short clip, however, is Harbour’s Hellboy voice, which sounds suspiciously similar to Tom Hardy’s Bane voice–something that probably only four people (myself included) will find enjoyable. While the previous trailer was a vast improvement over the first, this latest clip isn’t offering much in the way of thrilling material–unless you’ve got a thing for watching big red demons chomp pizza, in which case, you do you.
