Help Wanted: Unpaid Interns

We need help. Specifically, we need the kind of help that only unpaid, Chicago-based interns can provide. What kind of unpaid interns you ask? Well, let me tell you: We need someone who is engaged with our content (and pop culture in general) and not afraid of the Internet. We've got a long-term web project involving our archives that needs one or two people dedicated to analyzing our past work. There will be other tasks involved as well. Here's the official pitch:

Gain valuable experience working for The A.V. Club, The Onion's well-known and respected entertainment section. We are currently looking for an editorial intern in our Chicago office. Duties will include, but will not be limited to, working on a long-term web project, transcribing interviews, various organizational tasks, and generally assisting The A.V. Club staff.

Requirements: Candidates should possess strong writing and verbal skills, organizational aptitude, an ability to work reliably with others on deadlines, and a strong interest in pop culture. HTML skills and web savvy will be considered a major plus. Interns work up Interns work up to 20 hours per week.
