Here are some details on Quentin Tarantino's next movie
After a year off following Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino is now making preparations for another Western—or rather, his first Western, as the director properly considered Django a "Southern." According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tarantino has completed a script and recruited Django's casting director and producer to begin putting together the film titled The Hateful Eight.
There's no hint as to what the story involves, but the name has some speculating it's an homage to movies like The Magnificent Seven. Meanwhile, there's already one thing that's seemingly a given: Christoph Waltz, as Tarantino has reportedly written a part specifically for his new favorite actor. No word yet on whether his other favorite actor, Samuel L. Jackson, will also be involved, though it seems likely he'll be in there somewhere, assuming he can take time away from being in all the other movies currently in production.
Tarantino says he hopes to start shooting Hateful Eight this summer, so more details about the film should be forthcoming soon, including how gratuitous the film's use of the N-word will be, how gratuitous Tarantino's acting cameo will be, and possibly other, more minor things like the plot and rest of the cast.
