Here are some of Mindy Kaling's extremely collegiate cartoons from her Dartmouth days

Way, way back around the turn of the millennium, Mindy Kaling was still just Mindy Chokalingam, a Dartmouth student who had a way with words and a tiny amount of drawing ability. That’s what sparked her campus comic strip, “Badly Drawn Girl,” which ran in campus paper The Dartmouth from 1999 and 2001. Now, 14-odd years later, some kind soul has scanned some of Kaling’s collegiate cartoons and placed them online. They’re kind of funny, but more than anything, they serve as a reminder that, yes, even famous TV types lived in the dorms once, too. Plus, now we all know what Kaling’s handwriting looks like, so that’s a creepy perk.
