This year’s newly expanded edition of Coachella offers you two weekends in the California desert, two prolonged exposures to Danny DeVito, two opportunities to chat up that girl that looks like she took some molly so she’d probably be more excited than usual to talk to you, and perhaps most importantly, two chances to catch all of the bands on the just-revealed lineup below. As usual, there’s a bumper crop of reunions—Pulp, Refused, At The Drive-In (which explains this), fIREHOSE, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Mazzy Star, Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg—mixing it up with festival stalwarts like Radiohead and The Black Keys, headliners who aren’t really geared for headlining festivals like these (Bon Iver), and a really solid crop of modern bands and veteran surprises. (Yes, we saw that Dawes is on there. That’s very funny.)
