Here’s a trailer for Big Fish And Begonia, the new film from Legend Of Korra’s animation studio
For four seasons, Nickelodeon’s The Legend Of Korra delighted viewers with its heavy themes, powerful drama, and well-rounded characters—assuming said viewers could actually find the episodes when they aired. In addition to that stuff, Korra also tended to be a very pretty show with its crazy elemental karate fights and mystical spirit world shenanigans. Now, one of the animation studios that worked on the show, Studio Mir, has released a trailer for its next animated feature film. The movie is titled Big Fish And Begonia, and it seems to be about magical children who can transform into flying sea creatures. We say “seems to” because there isn’t a word of English in this trailer. Thankfully, you don’t need to know no languages to see just how darn pretty this here trailer is.
Big Fish And Begonia will be released in China on July 8, and it sounds like a United States release of any kind is unlikely. At least the trailer looks nice!
