If you saw the Hamilton cast perform during the Tonys and thought, “This looks great but it could use some more Irish dance,” you’re in luck. Hannah Red had that very idea—or something similar—and decided to choreograph a routine. She set her performance to “Guns And Ships,” a.k.a. the song wherein Lafayette (Daveed Diggs) raps really fast. And, voilà, you’ve got Hamilton meets Riverdance.
Red’s speedy footwork is impressive, and it matches the song perfectly. She also has the Revolutionary aesthetic down. Lin-Manuel Miranda approved.
