Here’s an exclusive interview clip with the star of Rectify, a show you should be watching
The second season of Sundance’s Rectify kicked off last week, which means you’ve only got a paltry seven episodes to catch up on if you’re not already watching. The series follows Daniel Holden—played with expert somberness by Aden Young—after he’s released from a 19-year stint on death row for a crime that he may or may not have committed. To say that he’s a changed man is a massive understatement, and the show—created by Ray McKinnon, a.k.a. the fiercely weird Reverend Smith from Deadwood—approaches the situation in unusual, compelling ways. Erik Adams is covering it for us every week. Below, we’ve got an exclusive interview clip with Young, in which he talks about finding his character through his hair—and eating way too much fried chicken for a scene.
