Here’s how to eat like Game Of Thrones’ The Mountain

You don’t get to play a character named for a geological landform on a popular cable TV show by having a reasonably sized salad and then going for a brisk walk. No, you have to ingest an insane amount of calories, then burn them off with an equally insane amount of exercise. Hafþór Björnsson—the 27-year-old Icelandic professional strongman who plays Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane on HBO’s Game Of Thrones—is currently bulking up for contest season, and he took time away from lifting buses over his head (or whatever mind-boggling thing he does to work up a sweat) to share his daily consumption regimen with fans.

“People been asking me a lot about my diet and what I eat!” the 243-pound, 6-foot-9 behemoth wrote on Facebook with his thigh-sized fingers. “Here’s my diet plan for my preparation for World’s Strongest Man 2016! Yes this is a lot & I don’t recommend YOU to try this!!” Good thing he included that disclaimer.

Björnsson recently told AAP that he workout routine necessitates the consumption of 10,000 calories daily. “It’s very, very extreme how much food I need to put into my body,” he revealed. “It’s a lot of work. More work than people realize.” Just think how strong his jaw muscles must be at this point.
