Here’s the first trailer for Snoop Dogg’s weed sitcom, Mary + Jane

Snoop Dogg’s well-documented love of marijuana hits new heights with this trailer for a weed-based comedy for MTV. The show, Mary + Jane, follows two “millennial ganjapreneuers”—hey, there’s a phrase that no one will reflexively reject—who are just trying to carve out a sticky-icky niche for themselves in Los Angeles. Scout Durwood and Jessica Rothe play the enterprising duo, who deliver their best buds to the Hollywood elite and beyond. But it looks like the typical work-life issues will keep them down to earth.

At the Television Critics Association summer press tour this weekend, Snoop Dogg revealed that he’s executive producing the series with Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont, who were both behind 1998’s Can’t Hardly Wait. The rapper and weed advocate/businessman also performs the theme song for the show, and will pop up in during the show’s run along with Seth Green and Andy Daly.

Mary + Jane premieres September 5 on MTV.
