FX has shown off a handful of teasers for American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson before now, but they were mostly dedicated to setting the show’s mood or referencing iconic imagery from O.J. Simpson’s murder trial or car chase. This full trailer for American Crime Story finally gets into it, though, which is to say that it gives all of the major players a chance to show off their interesting wigs and drop an extremely dramatic line or two. There’s Sarah Paulson’s Marcia Clark, David Schwimmer’s Robert Kardashian, John Travolta’s Robert Shapiro, and Cuba Gooding Jr’s O.J., all of whom seem to be giving American Crime Story their all. Unsurprisingly, though, Courtney B. Vance steals the trailer with his performance as Johnnie Cochran, who became a household name thanks to Simpson’s trial and his penchant for snappy, rhyming phrases.
American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson will premiere on FX on February 2.
