Here’s what’s coming to Amazon Prime in February
What with Groundhog Day, Valentine’s, and the still-lingering grip of winter, nothing says “February” like a movie that highlights the cold doldrums of heartbroken human futility. Luckily, Amazon’s got you covered, with exclusive streaming access to Asif Kapadia’s Amy, a “smart, nuanced look” at a fiery talent’s life cut short. Those in a less-dour (or restrained) mood, meanwhile, might want to indulge in Spike Lee’s musical sex dramedy Chi-Raq, the first production from Amazon Studios, which is also entering the free streaming sphere on February 5. Or you could just say “screw it” and toss on Men In Black, Talladega Nights, or The Fifth Element, and let a stream of jokes, explosions, and weird Gary Oldman haircuts lure you back into unthinking slumber. We won’t judge.
