Netflix is taking full advantage of the extra day in February that will be afforded by the leap year and is loading its digital coffers with original offerings, a recently-concluded drama, and a long-awaited sequel. As of February 5, you can watch the second half of the final season of Mad Men and/or catch the Hannibal Buress’ special Comedy Camisado, while Judd Apatow’s Love will be on full display on February 19. And Netflix will unleash Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword Of Destiny on February 26, along with the complete first season of Fuller House (how redux).
But alas, this bounty will (unintentionally) come at the cost of early seasons of Doctor Who, The Guild, and a whole slew of Pokémon movies, which will be trundled off to a streaming retirement village, where they will live out their remaining days. That is, until one of their stars signs on to a superhero tentpole movie, which is what we assume prompted the return of Armageddon to Netflix’s library.
