Ah, summer vacation. When a young man’s thoughts turn away from love, and towards thoughts of ambitious cardboard silhouettes. At least, that seems to be the thought process that prompted Bored Panda contributor John Marshall’s series of construction projects. Finding himself on an island off Maine for the summer, he decided to take some cardboard, scissors, and create a bunch of tableaus for our edification. They’re not all pop culture related, but the ones that are—such as his light saber battle, seen above—make us both envious of his talents, and supremely jealous that he has so much goddamn free time he was able to make this many of these things. Hey John, save an afternoon off or two for the rest of us.
