Here's a spooky trailer for Syfy's adaptation of George R.R. Martin's Nightflyers

Despite the success of Game Of Thrones, TV networks have been a bit slow to dig through the rest of George R.R. Martin’s literary works in hopes of finding something similarly adaptable. Finally, though, Syfy is here with a trailer for Nightflyers, an adaptation of Martin’s sci-fi/horror novella of the same name. The clip is short, but it features scared people in a spaceship saying ominous things about “Nightflyers,” which certainly seems appropriate for a sci-fi/horror story. Plus, just in case anyone has doubts about Nightflyers living up to Game Of Thrones, the people who made this show also appear in the teaser to talk about how “fucking awesome” it will be. Really, if you can’t trust the people who worked on Nightflyers to tell you about how good Nightflyers will be, who can you trust?

The show will premiere on Syfy in the fall.
