Here's the first clue as to what TV show inspired Adam Scott's next Greatest Event In Television History

Getting an early jump on creating another Greatest Event In Television History, thereby negating the previous Greatest Event after a mere five months, Adult Swim has confirmed a Nov. 7 airdate for Adam Scott’s latest special about hanging out with his cool famous friends and talking about ’80s TV. After shot-for-shot recreations of the opening credits to Simon & Simon and Hart To Hart with Jon Hamm and Amy Poehler, respectively, Scott will expand both his cast and his horizons for this third installment, bringing in Catherine O’Hara, Chelsea Peretti, Kathryn Hahn, and Jon Glaser for his first foray into non-detective-and-detective shows.

The network hasn’t yet officially revealed what show that may be, but the family portrait above (soon to be creeping out commuters on billboards in L.A. and New York) offers your first clue. While the painting and Peretti’s subtle Justine Bateman vibe definitely hint at Family Ties, O’Hara looks nothing like Meredith Baxter-Birney, suggesting Too Close For Comfort is just as likely (with Scott playing a tiny Jim J. Bullock?). Either that, or Scott is really trying to throw everyone off from the fact that it’s Knight Rider.  [via EW]
