The spookiness of October will soon be making way for the turkey-ness of November, and in the spirit of the season, Amazon Prime is ready to stuff you with a whole bunch of original shows. The star of the month—the turkey, if you will—is the first season of Homecoming, the psychological thriller from Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail that stars Julia Roberts, but the mashed potatoes is the first season of Beat (a show about a guy unraveling the corruption in the European techno scene), the cranberry sauce is season one of Gymkhana Files (a documentary series about driver Ken Block), the stuffing is season one of Inside Jokes (a documentary about up-and-coming comedians), and the pumpkin pie is… oh, let’s say season one of Kung Fu Panda: The Paws Of Destiny.
But wait, you can’t have the big turkey meal without saving for leftovers like Kick-Ass, Downsizing, 21, The Birdcage, The Adventures Of Tintin, Wonder, Weird Science, and Tyler Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween, all of which will also be available to Prime subscribers in November. (We’ll forgive the fact that one of them is spooky, even though we’ve already established that November is turkey month.)
