Here's your chance to host a Foo Fighters show in your garage
Foo Fighters recorded their new album, Wasting Light (due April 12), in Dave Grohl’s garage. We’re guessing his garage is a lot nicer than any garage we’ve ever been in; there’s probably enough room for a hot tub and an arcade and a Buffalo Wild Wings. But still, it’s technically a garage, which makes Wasting Light a garage-rock record. Now the Foos want to bring the music to the garages of eight lucky fans via a contest that you can learn more about here. Basically, if you want Grohl to squeeze his bandmates between your car and the exercise equipment you’ve never used, you need to tell him why (in 25 words or less) you deserve to host a show for you and 50 of your closest friends. You’ll also need to send in a photo of your garage. Oh, and you have to live in New York, Washington, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Dallas, or Seattle.
