Here's your first look at a Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes ape

Although we know that the recently retitled Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes will definitely feature apes—enough to raise an entire planet in fact—we’ve yet to actually see one, our only glimpses of the film due out August 5 having been limited to the above shot of James Franco working on his personal marketing research project in between takes. But to stoke anticipation for the full trailer, here’s a five-second look at one of those long-promised “photorealistic” apes we’ve been hearing so much about. No word on which ape this is, but we think Franco just finished reading him one of his short stories.
