Here's your first look at Adult Swim's Black Dynamite cartoon

A sequel to last year’s blaxploitation parody Black Dynamite still exists solely in the realm of righteous possibility, but in the meantime, Adult Swim has debuted the above first image from the Black Dynamite animated series, which was hinted at by creator Michael Jai White before his film even debuted. As promised, the cartoon (executive produced by Carl Jones of The Boondocks) will further explore the exploits of White’s eponymous ex-CIA operative as he battles various forms of kung-fu treachery with the help of his crew, voiced by returning co-stars like Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley, and Byron Minns, as well as new recruit JB Smoove, who should be added to everything.
