Werner Herzog, who's been busy lately with potentially interesting collaborations, is teaming up with executive producer David Lynch to make My Son, My Son, which is described by The Hollywood Reporter as "a horror-tinged murder drama based on a true story" about a San Diego man who acts out a Sophocles play in his mind and kills his mother with a sword. A guerrilla-style digital video shoot is tentatively set for March. Lynch is also the executive producer for the next project by another legendary director, Alejandro Jodorowsky, who is making a "metaphysical gangster" movie called King Shot.
