In case some Chicago-based readers missed the last opportunity to partake in music trivia with The A.V. Club's very own Marah Eakin, there's another chance just around the corner. This site's music editor will be hosting a round of the Rock For Kids Music Quiz Show this Thursday, Aug. 29. Teams of four (either pre-formed or randomly placed) will compete, and all proceeds will benefit music education for children in Chicago. Prizes include concert tickets, posters, signed stuff, and sweet vinyl. Sign-up is at 6 p.m. and trivia goes from 7-9:45. It's all going down at The Hideout at 1354 W. Wabansia this Thursday night.
