Hey Chicago, see Kurt Braunohler and Wyatt Cenac for free (also: a jet ski)
Chicago, you are in luck yet again. As part of a special kick-off for The A.V. Club’s first annual 26th Annual Comedy Festival, we’re co-presenting a very special evening of comedy with Kurt Braunohler and Wyatt Cenac at Schubas on May 29. The following day, Braunohler will attempt the unattemptable: He will jet ski from Chicago to New Orleans in order to raise money to send goats and chickens to Africa. (For real, you can donate here.) It’s all part of the launch of Roustabout, Comedy Central’s digital series, which will debut on cc.com in July. Along his jet ski route, Braunohler will perform stand-up with the likes of Jon Daly, Kyle Kinane, and Kristen Schaal.
The best part about this exciting evening of comedy, besides the fact that it features two very funny comedians, is that it’s free. Tickets are, naturally, extremely limited. To RSVP, just go here. You must be 21 or older to attend, and an RSVP does not guarantee you a seat, so arrive early.
In case you’re not fully engaged in stand-up comedy, you can watch some Braunohler and Cenac bits below.
