Every so often, The Simpsons will work against its criminally slow production schedule and churn out a bit of hyper-topical content, like that time back in 2012 when Mr. Burns went out of his frail, billionaire way to publicly endorse Mitt Romney. The show’s done that again to similar effect with a new clip, which finds Homer J. Simpson trapped in Donald Trump’s “hair,” or, as he calls it, “the ginger forest.” A criminally bald man himself, Homer’s a little jealous of Trump’s glorious(-ly horrifying) comb-over, which he says is both “as blond as a golden marmoset yet also as grey as a long-dead donkey.” Regardless of what you think about Trump—and you should think he’s the worst—the clip should serve as proof that The Simpsons can still bring the jokes.
