Hope you like "the Old Spice guy," because you'll be seeing a lot more of him

The Harley- and horse-straddling “man your man could smell like” from the recent Old Spice campaign ads and YouTube channel, is taking his freshness to Hollywood. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor, former NFL wide receiver—and current viral advertising success—Isaiah Mustafa has landed a small role in the forthcoming comedy Horrible Bosses that’s also set to star Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey, Jason Bateman, Jamie Foxx, and Colin Farrell, among many others. In addition to the high-profile film, Mustafa will add to his television credits, having just inked an exclusive talent agreement with NBC. He begins fulfilling the agreement next week by filming an episode of the network’s action-comedy series Chuck.

And before Bosses, Mustafa will make his official feature-film debut in the Tyler Perry-helmed For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. The adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s collection of poems is slated for release on January 14, 2011. Hoping to further parlay his 15 minutes of fame into hours on the silver screen, in a recent Attack Of The Show interview, the chiseled soap spokesman and self-professed “comic junkie” pitched himself as the guy to play Marvel Comics superhero Luke Cage in a live-action film. According to IMDB, the proposed Luke Cage film is currently in pre-production without a lead, so there’s hope for Mustafa there as well.
