Horror streaming service Shudder gets every episode of Tales From The Darkside

Lots of streaming services have some horror offerings, but they’re usually limited to recent stuff that wasn’t very successful or older titles that even the people starring in them never heard of. Thankfully, though, there’s the AMC-backed Shudder service, which is completely dedicated to movies that are spooky and/or scary. With Halloween coming soon, Shudder has now branched out into the TV world by picking up the exclusive rights to every episode of George Romero’s ‘80s horror anthology series Tales From The Darkside. All 83 episodes will be available to Shudder subscribers on October 1, and they’ll be the perfect thing to have on in the background while you drape fake cobwebs around your house, hang plastic skeletons from your trees, and paint all of your walls red and black in preparation for the big day—sort of like the Halloween version of a Yule Log.

Shudder is also getting the rights to the French miniseries Beyond The Walls, which tells the story of a woman who finds a parallel world beyond the walls of her new house. Plus, there will be new (old) movies coming to Shudder all throughout October, which you can see below.
