As our lunatic-in-chief continues to scrape the bottom of the barrel in search of stupid news stories to distract us from the fact that we’ll all be choking to death on air pollution or getting murdered by rampaging gangs of NRA fanatics in the next few years, former House Of Cards showrunner Beau Willimon has decided that this is the perfect time to talk about just how dangerous Donald Trump’s Twitter use really is. In a series of tweets, Willimon explained that Trump as “crossed a line” recently, and that his level of power and influence puts him “in a unique position” that makes the ease and accessibility of Twitter far too destructive than it should be.
Of course, Twitter never seems to care a whole lot when its users tell people to kill themselves or constantly share racist bullshit, so there’s absolutely no chance in the entire universe that it would ever ban Trump’s account, but breaking down the myriad ways that he’s awful is never a waste of time.
