Everyone's favorite brooding mutant/Oscar host Hugh Jackman announced yesterday that he would donate $100,000 to a to-be-determined charity, as selected by Twitter users. His tweet (or “twat,” as is the preferred term around here) read, “I will donate 100K to one individual's favorite non profit organization.Of course,you must convince me why by using 140 characters or less.”
Jackman’s Twitter feed indicates that the winner will be selected by Friday, April 24th, and has retwatted several suggestions from followers, including the GLSEN Organization to end anti-gay bullying in schools and the University Of Iowa Dance Marathon. Do you have any better ideas? Tell him.
