Hugh Jackman to sing, dance, and growl his ass off on worldwide arena tour
Hugh Jackman will always be Logan to us, but you can’t deny the man’s song-and-dance bonafides. His work in the 2012 film adaptation of Les Misérables scored him a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination, and in 2004 he snagged a Tony Award for tripping the light fantastic in The Boy From Oz. Recently, his turn as the non-racist version of PT Barnum in The Greatest Showman helped lead the film to a $435 million box office, despite it totally sucking ass.
The point is this: People love watching this very fit, very attractive man sing and dance. To satiate this sizable portion of humanity, Jackman has announced an arena tour that will find him performing a best-of compilation of cuts (and, god willing, some frothy Wolverine growls) from his numerous musical roles. It’s called “The Man. The Music. The Show.,” and it kicks off in Berlin in May of next year. After a string of dates in Europe and the U.K., Jackman will glide into the U.S. on a silk rope for 22 more shows.
Jackman is currently starring as disgraced politician Gary Hart in The Front Runner. Maybe he’ll do a monologue or something from it on the tour, the full dates for which you can find below.
