Good news for people who love people who hate everybody else. Deadline reports Hulu has renewed Difficult People, the freshman comedy starring Julie Klausner and Billy Eichner as codependent best friends living in New York and alienating basically everybody around them. Klausner, a great writer-performer with a superb podcast, had the following to say about the news of Hulu picking up a second season: “I’m the luckiest girl in the world to be able to make more episodes of Difficult People. This must be what it feels like to win the lottery, have a fast metabolism or win an Oscar for My Cousin Vinny.” There’s no statement from Billy Eichner as of yet, but we assume it’s just a matter of time until he rushes up and starts yelling at us.
