Hulu is also going to offer offline viewing so the binge never stops

Not one to be left behind in the ongoing streaming wars, Hulu is planning to debut a feature in which users can watch its content without the internet, following in the footsteps of Netflix and Amazon Prime. In an interview with Adweek, CEO Mike Hopkins said that the option to download is on the company’s “road map” for the near future. “It’s something that we’re going be doing in a few months,” Hopkins said. “We’re working hard on the technology around that and getting the rights squared away.” With any luck this means that soon we’ll be able to watch The Golden Girls anytime and anywhere.

Netflix’s unveiled their offline tool in November, while Amazon’s had it since 2015. Hulu, however, is also busy getting the leg up on its competitors by prepping its livestreaming bundle.
