Hulu has read its tarot cards and determined that it should invest in another season of Shut Eye, the streaming service announced today. You’ll excuse the psychic puns we hope, but the crime drama stars Jeffrey Donovan as a fortune-teller who starts to have visions after getting beaten up. KaDee Strickland, Isabella Rossellini, and Emmanuelle Chriqui are also featured in the series. In our review, The A.V. Club wrote that “there’s nothing innovative about this project, but its commitment to fleet storytelling and a game cast take it far.“ The second season will have a new showrunner in John Shiban, who has worked on Breaking Bad and Hell On Wheels, and will consist of 10 episodes.
