Humans, Younger, and Teachers usher in the TV summer
Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Tuesday, June 5. All times are Eastern.
Top picks
Humans (AMC, 10 p.m.)
Younger (TV Land, 10 p.m.)
Teachers (TV Land, 10:30 p.m.): The temperatures are getting higher, the days are getting longer, and with a handful of exceptions on The CW, regularly scheduled primetime fare has taken off for summer vacation. And while those shows are away, the renegade synths, fraudulently youthful publishing assistants, and questionably qualified educators will play. The AMC science-fiction thriller Humans picks back up after a cataclysmic event in human-cyborg relations, while Younger begins its fifth season with a timely premiere dealing with improprieties on the part of the show’s George R.R. Martin stand-in. And while it may be June outside, it’s the beginning of a new school year on Teachers, which is as good a reminder as any to enjoy your summer while you can, because it’ll be fall before you know it. So maybe you ought to set the DVR tonight.
