I Like Tarr And Ozu… Heavy Metal Thunder!

I don't know how long these T-shirts from CineFile Video have been in existence, but I just discovered them today thanks to a post on Jeffrey Wells' "Hollywood Elsewhere" site. Here's the question, though: Do I pick one based on which director I like best (De Palma) or what band I like best (Black Flag)? And what other band logos would fit perfectly with directors' names?
