Ian McKellen has some advice for Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway
British thespian Ian McKellen is a man of practicality. Why complicate things with cocktail words and ambiguities when you can just, well, cut through all the bullshit? It’s like that scene in Extras, where he confides to Ricky Gervais’ Andy that the secret to acting is simply pretending to be the character you’re portraying.
After the Oscars screw-up heard ’round the world, McKellen reached out to Best Picture presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway via Twitter, where he gave them some simple and, well, practical advice.
Sounds awfully simple, right? If it were, though, we wouldn’t have the hilarity that is Adele Dazeem, so maybe it’s advice best left ignored.
