IFC Films picks up John Krasinski's Brief Interviews With Hideous Men
A mere six months after it played Sundance to mixed reviews and widespread puzzlement, Office cut-up John Krasinski's Brief Interviews With Hideous Men, an adaptation of David Foster Wallace's book of the same name, has found a distributor in IFC Films. The film follows researcher Julianne Nicholson as she explores the male psyche with the help of a star-studded cast that includes Will Arnett, Dominic Cooper, Bobby Cannavale, Timothy Hutton, Christopher Meloni, Max Minghella and Krasinkski himself.
The film begans weakly, as Woody Allen-lite but ends strongly. Months later we're still trying to wrap our heads around it but we're glad audiences will have a chance to check it out for themselves.
