Ike Barinholtz cast as the male lead in the Tina Fey-Amy Poehler movie

Ike Barinholtz will play the male lead in the Tina Fey-Amy Poehler comedy The Nest, continuing The Mindy Project actor’s penchant for playing opposite beloved funny women. He’ll play Poehler’s love interest in the project, which stars Poehler and Fey as sisters who return to their childhood home for one last look before their parents sell it. The two decide to throw a party, resulting in some Sixteen Candles-style raging for some grown-ass adults.

The film was written by Saturday Night Live’s Paula Pell and is being directed by Pitch Perfect’s Jason Moore. It’ll hit theaters December 18, 2015, just in time for everyone to similarly go home for the holidays and throw their own thirtysomething drunk-fests.
