Imogen Poots and Anton Yelchin to star in movie about punk rockers fighting racists

In news that’s terrible for people who constantly have to look up how to spell certain celebrities’ names, two celebrities with names that are hard to spell are making a movie together. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anton Yelchin and Imogen Poots are going to star in Green Room, a new thriller from Blue Ruin director Jeremy Saulnier. The pair previously appeared together in the Fright Night remake, which also featured Colin Farrell—whose name has two Rs and two Ls, like Will Ferrell, but has an A instead of an E—and Doctor Who‘s David Tennant—whose name is pronounced like the word tenant but has an extra N—so maybe Yelchin and Poots just like working with people who have names that some of us have to look up every single time. Christopher Mintz-Plasse was in that, too. Come on.

Anyway, Green Room is about a punk rock band that witnesses “a gang of racist skinheads” murder somebody during one of their shows. The band, which is fronted by Yelchin, then hides in the—wait for it—green room with Poots’ character, a skinhead friend of the person who got murdered. THR uses the phrase “joins forces,” so the band probably doesn’t just hide in the—here it is again—green room the whole time. Arrested Development‘s Alia Shawcat is also involved, but the article doesn’t say if she’s on Team Punk Rock or Team Skinheads. At least we know we got her name right.
