In a twist, M. Night Shyamalan has his own Moby Dick project in the works

Yesterday we learned of the imminent launch of Moby Dick into space, and today there's a Twist™: M. Night Shyamalan has his own take on Herman Melville's sperm-faring novel in development, this one a TV series that has just landed a put pilot commitment at NBC. Titled Lost Horizon for some reason, despite having nothing to do with the similarly classic novel of the same name—which is certainly a Twist™—the series is described as a modern-day version of Moby Dick "dealing with obsession and the unknown, themes that are often reflected in Shyamalan’s movies," according to Deadline and a very generous reading of Shyamalan's movies, and takes place in an East Coast fishing village. Those are all of the details so far of this, Shyamalan's second foray into scripted television in recent months, though we're guessing you can, yes, expect a Twist™, such as maybe in this East Coast fishing village, the fish hunt a giant, elusive fisherman. And then they all do the Twist™.
