In addition to being "dark," the new Kanye West record is also "raw," features Daft Punk

Word came out last week that Kanye West’s new record—which may or may not be released June 18—is “dark.” Now comes even more chatter that says it’s also “very raw,” and also involves “screaming primally.” Those words come courtesy of Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter, who says he worked with West on at least one track on the album. Bangalter dished on collaborating with West to Rolling Stone, which further reports that Skrillex, Odd Future, 2 Chainz, and John Legend will all be on the record in some capacity. Other, previously teased collaborators include Chief Keef, King L, and Young Chop.

West will appear on the May 18 finale of Saturday Night Live, which may be the first chance to hear some of this new material.
