The growing alliance between American and Indian industries not only means that your job was just outsourced while you were at lunch, it's also made some pretty unusual bedfellows: Last week came the announcement that India's Reliance ADA Group would sink $600 million into buying a David Geffen-less DreamWorks for Steven Spielberg (guess they've finally forgiven him for Temple Of Doom). That move, of course, followed several high-profile development deals with big names like George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Tom Hanks that Reliance made at Cannes. Today marks the first real indication of what the Indian incursion into the American film industry will look like: The upcoming Incredible Love will be the first Indian production filmed at Hollywood's Universal Studios, telling the story of an "Indian stuntman who takes Hollywood by storm, but can't find true love" that just happens to star Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, making them the first well-known American actors to headline a Bollywood film. First they take our jobs, now they're taking our monosyllabic action heroes. Somebody call Lou Dobbs.
