An Indiana teenager who strangled his 10-year-old brother did it because he wanted to be just like the eponymous serial killer of Showtime’s Dexter, according to testimony from the teen’s ex-girlfriend. Prosecutors also played jail surveillance video that showed 18-year-old Andrew Conley discussing a new episode of Dexter with a visitor last November—so case closed, obviously. How many more people have to die before someone finally does something about all this damned pop culture?
