Indie supergroup Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam announces world tour
Hamilton Leithauser of The Walkmen will be touring in early 2017 in support of his newly released album I Had A Dream That You Were Mine, on which he collaborated with former Vampire Weekend multi-instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij. However, if you’ve had your own dream of seeing these two indie musicians share a stage in the flesh, you’re very likely out of luck. Batmanglij—whose stage name is simply Rostam—will only be joining Leithauser on tour for a few, yet-to-be-announced “select dates.”
However, you can watch this moody performance of the album’s “1959” that they (along with Wet singer-songwriter Kelly Zutrau) gave for Pitchfork’s cameras, and dream that you were there.
