Times—which has been the most aggressive paper about pushing an LAPD link—an inmate who implicated an LAPD officer in the shooting has recanted. Waymond Anderson now says he fingered the LAPD as part of a scheme to get a large money settlement from the city. Man, where is Vic Mackey when you need him?
