Insane Clown Posse is being sued over alleged dildo-related harassment and mental distress

Insane Clown Posse’s former publicist is suing the band, claiming she was wrongfully terminated and forced to work in an inappropriately sexual workplace. Andrea Pellegrini served as the band’s publicist and attorney at Psychopathic Records and alleges that, beginning in 2009, she was repeatedly subjected to sexual abuse. For example, Pellegrini says that Psychopatic Records employee Dan Diamond, a.k.a. Dirty Dan, often harassed her, calling her a "bitch" and gifting her with a dildo after she revealed she’d broken up with her boyfriend. Pellegrini alleges that Diamond also bought two other women in the office “vagina tighteners” that same day. Diamond also allegedly told Pellegrini that he had a “fat cock” and that “he’d like to fuck her.”

Pellegrini also says she was forced to use the backstage men’s bathrooms at the Gathering Of The Juggalos, meaning she was exposed to “naked male strangers,” and that, at one point, the band asked her to get illegal automatic weapons for a photo shoot. On a less salacious note, she says she was also asked to act as in-house counsel for the label during its interactions with the FBI—something she hadn’t been hired to do.

Pellegrini claims she was fired in November 2012 after bringing these complaints to the head of Psychopathic Records, William Dail, saying her refusal to “act unethically or illegally, and [reporting] the sexual harassment” led to her termination. Diamond, Dail, her former supervisor Robert Bruce, and ICP’s Joseph “Shaggy2Dope” Ulster and Joseph “Violent J” Bruce are all named in the suit, which, according to Detroit news station WXYZ, seeks compensation for Pelligrini’s “medical expenses, emotional distress, pain and suffering, fright and shock, horror, outrage and indignity, economic damages including lost wages and/or loss of earning capacity, exemplary damages, punitive damages, hedonic damages, attorney costs and fees, compensation for economic and non-economic damages, interest on allowable damages, and any other damages allowed under the law.”

Neither ICP nor Psychopatic Records has responded to the suit so far.
