Instead of the leaked footage, watch this dramatic look back at what brought the Avengers to Endgame

We’ve been looking back at some of the most important moments in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe here at The A.V. Club, not just the best scenes but the ones that reflect the realities of the MCU and how it got to where it is today, but why listen to us jerks when you can get quick, punchy highlights straight from Marvel itself? Today, in what’s either a lucky coincidence or a specific bit of counter-programming to compete against that leaked footage, Marvel Studios has released a new teaser for Endgame that expertly combines scenes from every other MCU movie (even Hulk and Iron Man 2!) with the little bits of footage shown in the previous Endgame teasers, all building up to Dr. Strange’s “we’re in the endgame now” line, a dramatic shot of Thanos, and then the big Avengers theme. It’s a little easy and manipulative for big Marvel fans, but damn it, it works.

Avengers: Endgame will be in theaters on April 26.
