Iron & Wine announces long-awaited new album and tour dates
It's been three years since indie-folk giant Sam Beam of Iron & Wine released his last album, The Shepherd's Dog. (We're not counting his b-sides and rarities compilation Around The Well or his live album Norfolk, both from 2009, nor are we choosing to remember the appearance of The Shepherd's Dog's "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" on the Twilight soundtrack.) But Beam has finally announced his new full-length, Pitchfork is reporting. Titled Kiss Each Other Clean, Iron & Wine's fourth LP is set for release in early 2011. Iron & Wine kicks off a quick European tour today, which will be followed by a three-date solo jaunt across the Midwest. Dates are below:
