Isaiah Washington, an actor with a thriving side project as a professional apolgizer, has finally been let go from Grey's Anatomy. The decision likely stems from an on-set incident last year where Washington called co-star T.R. Knight a "faggot." Washington has since apologized, checked into rehab, met with gay leaders, and released a PSA against hate speech. In response to the canning, Washington's publicist released a statement: "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more." Apparently Washington sees himself as the Howard Beale of gay slurs.
